Can be Clamped (rigid connection between pier cap and superstructure cross-section) or Bearings. If Bearings type is selected you have in addition the Bearings details window, with information on bearing displacement:
| Setting | Description |

| Number of bearings | Defines the number of bearings on the pier cap, up to 10 bearings. |
| Bearing depth | Define bearing depth, up to 0.5 m. |
| Bearing spacing | Define the distance between two consecutive bearings measured along the abutment axis and the total bearing spacing should be less than the plate width. |
| Bearing arrangement | Define either symmetric or non-symmetric. Symmetric arrangement represented by constant bearing spacing. |
| Connection type | Only rigid connection allowed. |
